SS Thomas & Edmund Society Of Change Ringers

To provide bell- ringing of a high standard as possible, before Sunday High Mass, Holy Days of Obligation, where a high Mass is said, and other occasions as required by the rector. Ringing is also provided for weddings and funerals, for which a fee is charged. Bell-ringing: Regular practices are held for the training and recruitment of new ringers. Visits to other ringing chambers by ourselves and welcoming visitors to the Abbey. Occasional ringing of peals (2.5 to 3hrs). General maintenance of the tower bells and fittings, including the Angelus bell.
