The Leper League

To raise funds for the care and rehabilitation of lepers throughout the world. The group are committed, through our collections and donations to provide medical supplies and drugs that enable thousands of leprosy sufferers throughout the world to be cured. They pay for the cost of artificial limbs to be fitted to patients who have lost hands/arms/legs through leprosy; this of course opens up a completely new life for patients. They help in crisis situations - when leprosy sufferers who have been totally abandoned are discovered existing in caves, high mountainous areas, disused graveyards etc. They pay for construction of clean running water supplies for leprosy sufferers. All proceeds are allocated and sent direct from Birmingham to Leprosaria throughout the world.
