The Six Ways Club

To help the missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa, by gifts of prayer and time, we have sent food through the church for all overseas disaster relief wherever this may be needed.

Activities: Knitting and crocheting blankets, and baby clothes, and making cotton dresses shorts and skirts. Together with members of the Methodist, Anglican and Catholic church, the co-workers run a weekly club at the Abbey Parish Centre, on Wednesday afternoons 12.30-3.39pm for psychiatric patients discharged from Highcroft Hospital, and for those with learning difficulties. Members who attend play scrabble and dominoes some do knitting, but most of all they talk to each other, which aids their social skills and general development within the community.
