Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (S.P.U.C.)To promote the sanctity of life from the womb to natural death. Priority of the Erdington branch is education by door to door leafleting and outside church, selling Pro-Life times monthly. Go into schools to do slide presentation on request. Lobby local M.P. Parliament whenever any alteration in abortion law or pro-life or cloning laws. Erdington group have a Handicap awareness campaign in schools in Birmingham to promote the sanctity of life to unborn handicapped children in the womb. Also cover V.V.A. helpline for women suffering post abortion syndrome. White Flower appeal in Erdington parishes whenever necessary. Annual Coffee morning and Carol Service are also held. Meetings: Meet in the Parish Centre on the last Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. |
