The Abbey Lourdes Fund Whist Drive

The Abbey whist drive originally started in Jean Harpers home almost 25years ago with the aim of sending sick parishioners to Lourdes. The group now meet weekly at the Abbey Parish Centre. This is a charity whist drive the monies raised is used to send invalids to Lourdes each year. The entrance money received from approximately 28 players weekly is equally divided between the Lourdes Fund and the Whist Drive Prizes. 

Activities: Whist Drives and Coffee Mornings (Coffee mornings held annually in February or March.. 

Membership: Open to all who play whist.
